Help How to turn off the boot up sound

I just got the Optimus S yesterday for my wife,she felt annoyed by the power on sound everytimethe phone powered up,is there a way to turn it off?thx.

If you put the phone in Silent Mode before you turn it off, the startup sound won't play. The phone vibrates instead. Hurray!

Look for Silent Boot in the Market. It works well.
