how to uninstall / remove app

well i figured out how to uninstall apps. kind of.

when i goto manage apps, there is a button for uninstall but i can't click it it's greyed out. it's the amazon mp3 app. it came with the phone.

how to get rid of this?

also how to you delete it. Uninstall and deleting are different things...

It is part of the sprint package that is pre-installed on the phone. You can not remove it (and sprint tv/nascar/navigation...etc). The only way to do so is by rooting the phone and installing a new rom or using titanium backup. Again, it is not possible without rooting the phone (at your own risk) and voiding your warrantee.

After rooting, you can use SystemApp Remover (Market) to easily get rid of the Sprint crapware (apps and widgets).
