Guys, just got my sensation from bell canada! Do u guys know where I can unlock it? I have tried coupe wensite but doesn't work!:( anyone can help?

Call your carrier. They must unlock it even if they say no. Just tell them you will be using the phone out of the country and require an unlock to use international gsm networks

I bought the phone too and am on Rogers. I took the Sensation to a store in Crystal Mall and they said the Unlock Code is unavailable for this phone!!!

If anyone has successfully unlocked the Bell version of the Sensation let us know!

Not that simple, carriers have certain rules which they impose before they unlock your device. For example, one rule is that you'll have to have service for over 30 days. As a Rogers customer, I'm not interested in signing up for Bell and waiting a month, I want the unlock code TODAY!

Anyone have any success?

It is THAT easy. See my first post! You have to know how to talk to them. You can't say you want to unlock it to change carriers. They don't go for that because they subsidize the cost of your device so you will use THEIR service but if you then leave them you cost them 50-70% of the cost of your device. This stuff is cheap at best and shady at worst. JUST BUY IT UNLOCKED AND UNBRANDED FROM HTC OR OTHER RETAILERS!

Oh no, what do u mean by unavailable for this phone? Unavailable for now or doesn't matter when?

Looks like I can reply to myself: MobileInCanada.com works although for some reason it recognized my phone as an HTC Sensation 4g on the Rogers network when I entered my IMEI. The unlock code works though; I am SIM unlocked.

I have purchased my last (4) phones sans subsidy, some unbranded, on both AT&T and T-Mobile, as I have accounts with both carriers. I had no problem getting all of the unlock codes until I tried with the LG G2x. Despite me being on a "non-contract plan" and paying full price, T-Mobile was unwilling to provide the code until several months after release. This after having my Moto Defy unlock code provided right away, and an escalation to the engineering team, after the service rep. was unable to provide a working code.

While just calling the carrier and informing them that "I'm going out of the country" is the generally accepted method of quickly/inexpensively obtaining the code, it does not always work. Buying the "unbranded/international" version may not include the radios required for a carrier's HSPA bands.

the easy way is go to httP: //www.unlocktotalk. com. only take like 5mins for them send u the unlock code. i unlocked alot phone from that site. gl
