Root how to unroot and get back to original rom?

Hey everyone, I know this may be a noob question but I really need some help

Ok so.. I rooted my ally a few days ago with z4root and everything worked perfectly. Then I downloaded rom manager and velocity and i installed that rom on my phone. I'm selling my phone and want everything back to normal. Unroot and original android 2.2..
So please anyone help?

Thanks a lot.

Considering the Ally doesn't have 2.2 yet...

Not to sound rude, but there are about a zillion or two threads about going back to stock. How's about a search first? Or even a quick glance?

This is the best way...read all 4 pages (currently) before doing so. I'm all about gaining the most knowledge before doing anything to something worth a lot of money.

All credit goes to swc2001...he deserves all the credit for this method...which I've used to get back to stock. I am running Velocity V0.4 right now and will do so until a Trident Velocity Froyo hits the grid. Thanks to Trident, GetItNowMarketing, swc2001 and all other Ally devs for my phone. Will be donating right after this edit for the continuation of development for the Ally. LG and Verizon can lick my ZACK for their lack of support. These boys are keeping the Ally in vogue. Will the Ally get Gingerbread...most likely not from LG or Verizon. Most likely from devs. Regardless, I love my Ally and would not give it up.
