Today I decided to try out the connect the dots root.It worked perfectly, only issue i had was i didnt know how to unroot without going threw the Sticky: Unbrick/Unroot/Update LG Connect guide,so im not sure if this has been posted, but i did see a bunch of people asking how to unroot, and i found out that if you go to lg.com and download the update tool, and then install drivers(the update tool will explain it all in order to installing drivers , once drivers are installed your phone will appear and if your not updated to the newest update (vv5 ) it will instruct you how to,but back to unrooting,up in the right hand corner you will see a options box, click it and it will drop down with different options, you want to click on the update recovery, ( MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED BACKED UP,PREFERRED TO THE COMPUTER !!! NOT SURE IF IT WILL MESS WITH YOUR SD CARD ) now your phone will go threw a few stages and reboot a time or too, after it says you can exit, your root is gone and you will be updated to the latest firmware vv5 unrooted, super user will be gone, now on my phone all my apps and contacts and so on are still there.now i went into the privacy settings and unchecked the backup ,reinstall app data choices and did the factory reset, and now my phone is back to out of the box stock. ( p.s ) if someone has already posted this i am sorry for not catching it but i have noticed a few posts asking how to unroot and return to stock.
