How to Unroot & factory reset to stock firmware ?

Hello, i want to factory reset my SGS2 to it's original Samsung stock firmware. I used to have these specs :

Model : GT-I9100
Android version : 2.3.5
Baseband version : I9100XXKI4
Kernal version : 2.6.35.7-I9100JPKJ2-CL655700root@DELL143 #2
Build number :GINGERBREAD.JPKJ2

Sorry if this has already been asked, I searched for the "stock ROM thread" in this forum but couldn't find it. Can you please take me to Tutorial+Original ROM thread and Is it OK if I reset it to a later version of GB? e.g. 2.3.6. thanks alot!

Ok, well we know what you used to have......but what do you have now? Best to have all the info before we start giving you advice.

This is what he wants!

You need to look here for official firmware, or if you want to get it back to "out-of-the-box" with carrier (network) bloat, then look on here

I'm not sure if all the links still work, but full instructions on what to do are on the first link.

If the downloads no longer work, then register and log in to sammobile.com

As you are rooted, you can wipe data/factory reset in CWM recovery (or in the phone's backup+reset menu).
Once done, flash the firmware, and you will be back in its original state.

Rooting any official firmware will automatically unroot your device in the process

Thank you very much, this was very helpful, though the link wasn't working but it redirected me to this page, AndroidFirmwares.net - SGS 2
it has all stock Roms + kernels for both ICS and GB. ty again!

Gentlemen,

I've recently changed my mobile's kernel to root it, and my USB stopped working ever since. It still charges, but it won't mount nor allow me to use PTP or MTP.

ODIN doesn't work anymore either, so I've purchased the Mobile Odin, and I'm ready to flash it from the SD card back to the original kernel, hence the question:

How do I find my original kernel?

Here are my mobile's data for your references:

Android Version: 4.0.3
Baseband version: I9100VILP3
Kernel version: 3.0.15-I9100XWLPECL574677 DPI@DELL171#3 <--- Current one, obviously.
Build number: IML74K.VJLP7

Cheers.
