Root How to upadate to Android 2.2 on Samsung Captivate

Hi im new to the site and i was wondering do anybody know how to update the Samsung Captivate from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 If anybody know the steps to do this I would be greatful.

Froyo isn't readily available just yet. Presumably, when it it is available, it'll be an "Over the Air" update pushed out by AT&T.
