Root how to upate android version

How do u update ur android version I got a EVO flashed to boost and rooted but it running 2.2 version any help out there

Welcome to AF! I moved your thread to the "All Things Root" subforum for obvious reasons. One thing you can do to keep your Evo updated while it's rooted, is to flash an updated ROM that's running GB on it. I'm not too sure how it works when your phone is flashed to Metro, if which ROM's you can flash are limited or not, but one ROM I'm sure you can flash is CM7.

Mines flashed to boost is stealrom 2.3.3 that the Android version I want and with steal Rom u get vm notifications to and free hotspot
