Help How to update "Android Version" on Galaxy S2?

Hi guys, I am really a noob and want help asap..

I have a Galaxy S2, it runs Android version: 2.3.3
I want to know if there is an update/upgrade possible for my GS2?

Also my firmware version, can I and do I need to update it?
PDA: I9100JPKF3
PHONE: I9100XXKF1
CSC: I9100JPKF2

Build Info: Mon Jun 20 17:48:34 KST 2011

I really want to keep myself up to date... Thanks a ton!

Also tell me about bugs, any info or something if you think I need to know :\
Any disadvantages? And I don't have an SD card if that would be under consideration..

dont really need to update my android version is also 2.3.3 but when i search for new updates there are none so hope that helps but im a noob also so yea...

The consensus is that it's up to your phone carrier to support updates. In other words don't hold your breath. If you want the latest firmware and ROMs.It's best to root your phone.Go to "all things root" section and read all the advantages and disadvantages of rooting your phone.BUT! The Galaxy S2 is supposed to be getting the new Android Ice Cream 4.0 firmware very soon. You might want to wait for that.I heard it might be available by the end of this year.:)
