My phone won't boot, following a failed app update. I tried the following:
Factory Reset
Recovery
Copying the PD15IMG.zip to the Micro SD Card. The phone loads it and says "updating", but it just gets stuck there.
Running HTCDEV's RUU, but it also gets stuck in the updating process. The log file says "FAILED (status read failed (Too many links)"
I was just now looking at the HTCDEV website and noticed a star next to it, which apparently means that my particular phone (HTC Glacier - MyTouch 4G) "requires an Hboot Update". How do I do this?
My current Hboot version is 0.89.0006
and my S setting is S-ON
