Ok. I figured out the issue and now have CM 7.1.5 running smoothly on my Milestone. Cheers to all you guys.
However, there is something that I am unable to figure out. As we all know, CM 7 allows us to move apps to the sd card by going to Manage Applications from the main screen. Here, under the "SD card" tab, you get a list of which apps can be moved to the SD card. Those which have already been moved will have the tick mark against them while those which haven't been moved as yet will not have the tick mark. All this is fine and dandy.
The part that's irking me is that when you go to the "Downloaded" tab and you click on an app which DID NOT show under the "SD Card" tab (for eg: Gmail), the "Move to SD card" option is executable i.e. NOT grayed out. However, for some others (eg: Market) the option is grayed out. Now my question is what happens if you move the Gmail app to the SD card? And also, why did it not show in the "SD Card" tab?
P.S. Apologies if this question has been asked earlier.
