Help How to use internal memory

The Dinc has a lot of internal memory but what use is it? Most apps do not see media in internal memory. Now with Froyo coming I see some discussions on the ability to install apps to the SD. Why? What are they freeing the space up for?

I have a 16GB SD and space isn't really a factor for me. But, isn't internal memory faster than card access? How can I best use that space?

I guess it's mainly for people who are too cheap to buy an SD card, but you can store pictures and videos from the camera on there, as well as put music and movies on it to play. I really wouldn't have cared if it came with no internal memory.

Music, movies, and pictures are what I use it for. You're right that most apps out there on the market won't see the internal memory since most phones don't have it. But what is already on the phone (music player and picture/video viewer as well as camera/camcorder) uses it.

Also, of the 8GB, we only have 748MB partitioned apart for apps, so app2SD could still important (though it would take a long time to fill it up).

I keep 6gb of my favorite music on my phone's memory since I will continue to listen to it for the entire duration i own this phone. I then fill up the memory card weekly with movies and tv shows since I only watch those once a piece.
