Root How to use OTG on XOOM

I have a xoom mz601 that doesn't pick up my usb drive using a otg cable.
Does anyone know why this is? and what i can do to make it work?

My device info:
Model: Xoom MZ601
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband: N_01.100.05P
Kernel: 2.6.39.4-Tiamat
Build: EOS Stable release 2

Do you have Stickmount installed from the Play Store? I'm not sure if it's baked into the EOS ROM.
