Help How to view cleared notifications?

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s7 and I was wondering how I view notifications that I cleared today without looking at them. I know that on my galaxy s3 I could put the settings widget on the homescreen and view the notifications history log from there but I dont seem to be able to do that on the S7. Do I need to download an app for this or is there some other way to do this? Thanks for the help!

1. Long-tap an empty space on your Android home screen, then tap Widgets.

2. Swipe left until you get to the Settings shortcutwidget.

3. Long-tap the widget until your home screens appear, then drag it to a home screen of your choice.

4. In the Settings shortcutmenu that appears, scroll down and tap Notification log.

5. A Notification logshortcut will appear on your home screen. Just tap this, and you’ll have access to your notification history.​

I have used this method on my S3 previously. When I try it on my S7, there is no setting widget to be found.
