Help How to view the original message sent time?

One feature of my old Env2 that I really miss and can't seem to find on my Incredible is to find the original time that an SMS message was sent. If I have my phone off for an hour, and turn it back on and receive a text message that was sent at some point in that hour, how can I find out when exactly it was sent? I don't see the option in Handcent or in the Stock Messaging app.

I've tried that, it still says the message received time which is when I turned my phone on. I know that the person sent me the text at least an hour and a half before my phone was on.

No, it's not possible. I've just checked the SMS sqlite database on my phone and seen, there's just one time saved. So it's not possible without rewriting the SMS application and changing sqlite structure and I think, this will never happen.

I miss this feature from my old Voyager too.

It is very supprising that a platform such as Android doesn't have this basic feature.
I misss it too
