After 15+ years, we've made a big change: Android Forums is now Early Bird Club. Learn more here.
You can try an app to hide other apps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartanuj.hideitpro&hl=en
Or you can use an alternative launcher on the device to remove apps from the app drawer: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=launcher&c=apps&hl=en (take your pick)
With root there are probably other options as well.
