Howdi from FL

Hi guys,

I am a new Android user from FL. Got two phones: a HTC Desire HD a friend from Switzerland gave me which I only use as a tablet or GPS, and an HTC One S I got through T-Mobile. I have been a long time GNU/Linux user, but I am new to Android.

Main interest: trying to find the best use for my HTC Desire HD without putting in a SIM card (don't have the $$ to do so).

Any suggestions would be very much welcome.
