I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Spica, which will be my first Android phone. I am gambling that the rumored version 2.1 update will materialize. It was the cheapest way for me to get my hands on an Android powered phone.
I have an iPhone 1st. gen, but since I have banished OS X and Windows from my computers, Apple's big brother like grip on the phone has become too much for me to take anymore. Too bad, I like the phone a lot, particularly the iPhone's ability to turn down the music when you receive a call and automagically turn the volume back up after the call is completed. Very handy when bicycling
