How's my battery life? (numbers enclosed)

I just ran my phone from 100% to the point where it shut itself down so basically to minimal possible charge.

My numbers just prior to shut down were approximately:

Up Time: 46:00
Awake Time: 5:40

These numbers were all during intense use with a mixture of 3G mostly and a bit of wifi. I spent this entire charge web surfing and downloading and installing apps. I also used the music player for about 30 minutes.

This seems like excellent battery life to me. Realistically if I were using my phone in a more normal way I would be able to last easily for an entire day without any worries, probably more.

Just wanted to get the perspective of other EVO owners on my battery life, I'm very pleased with it.

I dont really go by those numbers, that just basically shows how long your phone has been in use since the start of turn on, i go by the battery stats where it shows what programs used the most resources etc.

Isn't the awake time a good stat in my case since I was using the phone intensely the entire time?

I believe the awake stat is the total sum of how long its been awake since you booted up the phone for example say you got the phone on launch day, from that day till now it would be a big number.

This would be the example you should be looking at for battery life

(not my pic but someone elses)

OK this works again for me since it was the time since the phone rebooted after I did the OTA update. So that 5 hours and 40 minutes represents the actual time the phone was used and as I said it was used non stop for that entire time. Next time I'll keep an eye on those other stats, but for now I am wondering if what I got was good battery life?

Display Up Time or it doesn't matter. I'll bet you the Display Up Time wasn't over 4 hours. That's about the max time I've seen/gotten.

1 day w/ 27 left! Man I am jealous. I feel like I have a bad battery. I have everything turned off, barely used it and my best time is 11 hours. Syncing is turned off on everything.

I just want to go a full day without having to juice it up inbetween.

Was looking for something better then that
Like mine says android system used 50%. What makes up the androids system? No other apps listed
I believe its the OS itself, like using the market place switching screens, going through the app draw, opening windows, etc.

Don't be jealous man... checkout that Android system...Shows they barely even used the phone at all!

Yeah that pictures tell you nothing. Just because you leave wifi and Bluetooth on doesn't mean you are actively using it. It will, however; split the percentage out of 100 with the other processes that were used or turn on idling. That's why picture is very misleading.
