Help Hows this for some extreme battery usage?

Hows this for some extreme battery usage, full to nearly flat in about 3 hours, notice that when it gave me the low battery warning i plugged it in to charge and it didnt actually manage to charge the phone, just stop it loosing any more charge.
Just shows this is a powerful phone, the charger cant put out enough power to run the phone at max & charge at the same time.
For the record i was playing hot springs story, a hotel management game which is not 3d at all.

that's terrible, i plat game dev story on my hero and still (just) manage to get it to chareg up.
would've thought the SGS2 would fare much better here.

Wall charger with the one that came in the box.
Might have to look see if you can get any with more than 0.7a available to charge the phone faster.

Well lets be honest, how long would a laptop last if you were sitting playing a game on it? 3-4hours, which is pretty much how long the phone lasted

People need to stop comparing smart phones to old nokias, and instead compare them to things with a similar amount of cpu power, eg a laptop.

If i just have the phone idling in my pocket, or use it for texts/the odd call & email it finishes a 17hour day with about 60%

Ah ic, interesting the wall charger only puts out .7a to charge, though that gives you a better charge, i thought the wall chargers usually put out 1a

Both my samsung chargers put out 0.7a (i've got an older one from the galaxy i7500) but my girlfriends htc charger (desire) puts out 1a, i'll use hers next time i am playing games on the phone and see how it effects it.

no matter how bad it is. It's one of the best available.

The Sensations has is less efficient and has a smaller battery.

The Atrix (okay, that is bigger)

and I think the Optimus3D has a (1750 battery) but that's out putting 3D so i'm not sure how to compare that.

I've switched off the Live wallpaper after a day, I wouldn't be suprised if that was helping to drain my battery.
