Hello, i am just wondering, in the latest Infused 2.0 rom, did they finally fix the 4g? I would go crazy to have Gingerbread on my phone, but i have heard on earlier versions there was none. Can someone give me a straight answer about this?
Well i did not because i was afraid maybe no one would even look at it because it is getting old but anyway i will ask this here does the 2.0.5 fix the 4g? I heard it is totally not a related modem. I think soon i will go to version 2.0.4 because it sounds the best.
I am on 2.1 but i cant find the preferences screen.
I love this rom but there is two reasons why it made me stressed. A:My contacts would not load onto my phone (luckily i have most in my iPod) B:4g in the Denver area for this modem is not really working i should be getting like 5-8mb per second down but only getting 3-4 down. This rom is incredible though and i recomend it to any noobs like me! Hopefully soon the 4g will be fixed.
This was August... is Denver 4G still an issue with current ROMs? I really want to root and load a Gingerbread ROM, but I love the AT&T 4G out here. It beats my DSL speeds. I'd hate to lose it.
Lol well its probably safe to do now, but i no longer run infused. I run dlev rom with either enyropys kernel for battery or infusion for speed. They both have speed fixes, which allow for faster speeds. What current speeds do you get on froyo?
Well, here in NW Denver in a dead spot where T-mobile was lucky to get bars and almost never any 3G at all... I'm getting 3738 down. Not bad at all.
Plus, when I'm at concerts or sporting events and all the iPhone users are fighting over the 3G, I still get excellent 4G connections, which is nice.
Started to load CM7 yesterday, but I bailed out at the last second after reading about bluetooth and data problems. Loaded Infused v2 this morning instead.
3.2 down on 4G now. It's within the margin of error from my 3.7 on stock. I'll take it.
It doesn't have data problems, I'm running it now. Flash the one not latest but second latest, I'm on that one and its great. Yes no bluetooth, but that's not really needed if you never use it.
Unfortunately, I do. It's how I listen to music in my car. Post back here if you hear they have it worked out.
