With some tweaks, and sammyz unbrick guide, I don't think it would hurt to try

Because, if you flash this you'll get a nice (possible hard?) brick.....

Not sure if it's the same thing, but I followed some directions on xda for adding APN and Proxy while on CM10. Didn't fix SMS, but I didn't try MMS.

It formats some partitions..... i'm not dumb....

Why would it format partitions? Where have you seen that? Link please? I've been flashing various mms fixes for a couple years. Either they take or don't.

there is teh updater script. by using hard coded lines like i bolded means t hat you do risk messing up your motion if you flash this (unless your mmcblk0p7 happens to be ok with being formatted )

a few changes and this could be instead made to work on any device and work fine...

regardless youd need to check and see if that mms.apk even supports mdpi as teh e4gt is hdpi

Looks like that is for changing the carrier info to Metro. So I would guess no. And won't test cause it will probably brick the motion lol.
