HSPA+ speeds

I know these speeds are slow compared to 4G LTE, but I am very happy with both upload and download speeds. I get less speed on DSL at home (my only internet option).

This test was run at work inside the building (North San Diego). I had four bars.
2953kbps up (I sometimes broke 3000)
1099kbps down

man the highest mine gets is around 1.58 mbps -down and 0.78 -up.

I'm thinking this is not normal, comparing to everybody else's results.

That is about par for what I see during the day time. I only see the speeds they are posting at night. It is probably just a matter of mine and your towers not having enough capacity to handle the amount of users hitting it.

Are you guys testing from towers only and intentionally leaving wi-fi out of the equation for comparison value?

So during day hours it's slower then night. i just ran a speed test and hit 2.50mbps down and 0.92 up on my Thrill. I've never seen my hit about 5mbps since i've had it.

No LTE phones from AT&T yet, and the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE hasn't been released yet as far as I know. I'm seeing the same speeds I got on my iPhone, though admittedly my iPhone was hitting up to 3mbps here. Just ran a test and got umm... 2.4mbps down, 2.0mbps up O.o

Speeds are pretty good. I've noticed that speeds on the Infuse and GS2 are noticeably better than other devices. Yesterday (with my GS2), I pulled 9 mbps down.

Fort Worth TX (Home): PING - 102ms, DOWNLOAD - 3.78Mbps, UPLOAD - 1.06Mbps

Haltom City TX (Work): PING - 113ms, DOWNLOAD - 7.19Mbps, Upload - 113Mbps

7.19Mbps...yeah. Burnin'.

So what's the top speed for a 3G device. I was finally able to hit above 6 mbps this morning.

Las Vegas area here, where I work which is near the center of the city I was getting only 700Kpbs down, and 1.2Mpbs up.

However when I'm at home, I get 3.7Mbps down and 800Kbps up. Signal strength is about the same in both areas, which is 2-3 bars.
