How to copy my desk top songs into my New HTC Android ?

The way I seen most android do it is connect it to the pc via USB. Then turn on USB mode on the android. Then transfer the files like if it was a mp3 player. So the phone turns into a mass storage device.

What's wrong with connecting the phone to desktop with a cable and doing Copy-Paste?

FWIW, HTC-Sync allows you to specify specific folders to synch with under Windows.
