Help HTC Be polite

Does the Incredible have the "Be Polite" setting for if the phone is put face down it doesn't ring? If so, how do I turn it on?

i'm pretty sure it is a stock option that is on e the phone that can't be turned on or off

It does and I think it's defaulted to that off the bat, just like the queiting when you pick it up...

Yes, I didn't know about that until I read this and tried it. I set my DI facedown and it rang once really shot and that was it. When I put it face up and called it rang normally. Pretty cool.

settings---sound and display---quiet ring on pickup

I tried this too and it does a half ring, probably wakes up sees that it's flipped over, and stops. So it will still ring but only like a half ring or so.

I think they're talking about flipping the phone face down when it starts to ring. Again, I don't think you can turn that off and on

No I was talking about it starting face down. I know there is a setting for if you pick it up after it is ringing that it will stop.

Mine just rings like normal, even when face down.
