This reminds me of the Sony Bravia video enhancer that was heavily touted around, about 4 or 5 months ago. It was claimed that it enhanced video playback but in actual fact did nothing of the sort and was merely a placebo effect.

This is basically a DSP equalizer type replacement it would seem. Since it has no outward sign of being installed on your phone, you have to trust that it is an improvement.

If, like me, you are running PowerAmp or any other 3rd party player or even DSP, you won't notice the difference it seems.

One piece of advice though, if you are thinking of installing it, make sure you do a nandroid back-up first as you are not able to uninstall this by using conventional methods and will need to do a nandroid restore to get rid of it.

Yeah, a nandroid backup sure is handy now.
anyway, i am using poweramp, and i just flashed it a few minutes ago,
the bass seems to be a bit better, but its most likely just in my head.
I don't know how it affects it, so maybe if you're not using poweramp or something it should make it sound better, but im not hearing a big difference, so im just gonna restore my backup, to get rid of it, just in case.

anyone else tried it and have a different opinion?
