Help HTC Bluethooth Stack and HID?

Does the HTC Bluetooth stack still not handle HID devices? I have tried to look online and all the info I found was 2 years old at least and even as far back as 2010 so some more up to date info would be apprecited on this front. I would like to use my PS3 controller with my HTC One SV but it sounds like we need to wait for either a kernel or ROM change before that will be possible. Is the HtC Bluetooth stack part of the kernel or rom?
