Help HTC built in emal app ringtone

[BORIStheBLADE]

I know with the Gmail app you can change the email notification to another sound compared to your call or text ringtone. With the Built in HTC mail app I can't seem to customized it to a different ringtone. Am I not seeing it or are you not able to change the ringtone to a different one than what you are using for SMS?

Thanks

I just looked and didn't see a way.

I use Handcent for SMS. I set the notification I want for email as the "default notification sound" in the phone's settings, then use Handcent to set the SMS sound.

If you decide to give handcent a try, make sure you disable notifications in the stock messaging application.
