Help HTC camera unable to start

Hi all ,
I have an htc m8 device with a skydragon v10 sense 7 installed on it
Suddenly my camera was unable to open , anyone know how to fix this ?
I tried uninstalling updates and clearing cache.
I tried dirty flashing the rom
I tried flashing the rom with wiping data and everything.
I tried factory reset from recovery.
And non of that helped , and btw the front camera still works, i dunno how !
Any ideas?

Have you tried a different ROM? That seems to be about the only thing left apart from an RUU.

You'd not updated anything before this happened (ROM, firmware,...)?

Do 3rd Party camera apps work?

From a brief search, it does look like there are issues with the camera. Can you update the camera app via Play?

I have an HTC One SV through boost mobile and have been having the same problem I try openning my stock camera and it goes to a blank screen with the camera features then goes back to home my phone has no root or super user permission I tried the factory reset, clear data, and clear cache none of it works I think it has something to do with software but I'm unsure I hope it is not hardware I don't have the money to replace the phone
