Help HTC Clock app - weather not shown only for current

on my HTC Incredible, the HTC clock app no longer shows any weather for the current city. If I click into it I can see weather for any other manually added city, even the city I happen to be currently in, so I know it can receive the data. However, it will not show weather (on the home screen or clicking through) for ANY current location. It does display the current city, so GPS seems to work, just no weather for current (if the current city happens to be a city I've manually added, I can see the weather on that tab, but not on the current tab).

I've tried resetting, removing (don't think I can uninstall the HTC app as the phone is not rooted), rebooting, etc.

Any ideas?

My Desire HD has just done exactly the same thing; the clock widget shows the correct "current location", but no weather. In the weather widget it says no weather data available. Weather for other locations/cities will show, and if I add my location/city manually, it shows.

I'm thinking that this has to be caused by the phone in some way, as my wife's Desire HD works as it should (so it's not the service). These two phones are identically set up, the only difference being that I enabled the mobile internet (3G) today while hers is only connected through the wlan at home. Don't know if that has anything to do with anything?
