Root HTC clock/weather widget

I rooted and installed xtr-ROM_5.0 and thus lost my HTC clock/weather widget. I bought beautiful widgets, and used that one. But it's just not the same. I miss the animations, like the windshield wiper, and snow, etc. (not that I see the snow animation very often in Houston, TX, but still. :)

I could probably install xtr-Sense and get it back, but I don't know if I want it that badly. I have searched the market, and found several widgets that claim to be the official HTC clock/weather widget. Which one is the true 4 x 2 version that came on my stock Eris? And would it have all the animations just like the stock one?

If I could just download that widget, I would be happy. I really don't want xtr-Sense, because I love xtr-Rom, and there is just that one widget I am missing.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

the HTC sense clock widget is specific to sense based roms. Unfortunately, if you load a custom non sense rom you can't use the HTC widget. You have to either run a third party widget or go back to a sense based ROM.

Beautiful widgets does have the animations. I turned them off because they got annoying ....

You can enable them under settings/advanced/animations

I have been looking at UI screenshots over at XDA forums for a while, and I think I have changed my mind. I set this up today on my main home screen and I am really liking it.

So, which widget is that? Or is it Beautiful Widgets?

It's 3 widgets overlapped. And the overlapping is made possible by LauncherPro.

The weather is the 4x1 Beautiful Widgets weather
The Clock is Simiclock app.
The battery is Circle Battery app.

You just put them all on there, and resize them so they overlap.
I wish I had thought of it, but I'm just copying what someone else did.
The only difference I did was to make everything black, because I had a lighter wallpaper. The one I saw was all white over a darker wallpaper.
