htc desire 2nd advert???

I actually think it is supposed to be useful information at hand for the specific phone that you are in the sub forum of. If this is the case, it would be great but since the information and picture are still incorrect, its just perpetuating misinformation

It Link to the Phandroid phone section, where it gives you easy access to the Desire Forum (in AF), Review to the Desires, all articles written in Phandroid pertaining to the Desire etc.

Ignore it! That's what I do. Although I've been a tad busy and haven't been able to go to the Desire Forum much, lol. It would be nice if people can post in the proper subforums there, lol.
 
PM Phases so that he can give you guys an update on whats going on. I'm sure the forum dev has alot on his plate but if you let Phases know how you feel, maybe we can hurry the dev up a little

Its always been like this. Its an endless battle. I report what I can but since 50% of the time I am on the app, its harder.

Noticed that quite a lot of the banners are showing inaccurate or outdated info. Xoom banners still show device as 'upcoming' in phandroid and in forums it looks better but still has a email sign up box to get a notification when its available to be ordered
 
Maybe we should just do away with these since they seem to be causing more harm than good;):p

Yes thanks. Mostly.

The info is from a while ago, stating latest handset, AMOLED and android 2.1 which at release was true. Its a year old, Mostly LCD and soon to get android 2.3, but the main thing is its the right phone and the information has at least been correct at one time :)

Well, the ad is still there, but it was adjusted. At least that horrible picture is gone. Still, I hate to see at the end of each Desire topic this ad...:rolleyes:
 
ah yes...NOW its changed for me...and yea I actually don't mind the advert really...gotta get their funding from somewhere...

but at least its up to date and not confusing anyone lol
 
except for the ebay...all the other stuff is all Phandroid related....so they aren't ads :<
 
Just to be clear, these are not actually ads. They are meant as "features" that give more information on the phone you're reading about - pulled from our phone guide over on Phandroid. I know there is a buy button but, it's actually just meant to try to tie together features across AF and Phandroid..
