Hello guys
I got HTC Desire 516 dual sim android 4.3 and I got issues with sending MMS from and on it. I put all parameters good but, when sending, after a while, bubble pop-up come and say "can not send message, will retry latter" and when receiving it receive message and say downloading but message never come. Anyone got idea what could be problem? Also It is locked on one network and I tried to unlock it but no drivers for win7 x64 program for unlocking failed because it can not recognize phone attached to the computer. I can not find drivers on inet because any I tried doesn't work...

Have you checked the APN settings under settings>more...>mobile networks ??

Also, what messaging app are you using? Some (if not all) like Hangouts has it's own APN settings if you open the settings from within the app.

If it's not an issue with APN settings, I'm not sure what else to try. Can you take the device into your carrier?

I have asked for this to be moved to the Desire 516 forum.
Unfortunately we don't have a forum set up for the Desire 516. I'll leave it here for now until I find a better home.

I admit my silliness... I use messaging as it is offered on normal screen and it wasn't work. Now I try to set up Hangout and send MMS and it works normal... Do I need really to use Hangout? I like old school messaging system rly... :)

I don't think you would be required to use hangouts, but perhaps the messenger you were using had some incorrect settings?

A'ha! Just looked it up on the Play Store since you mentioned you were using messaging. Check out their app description (note the bold section:
This is the stock Android 4.4 (KitKat) Messaging app for SMS and MMS messaging now available for 4.1+ (Jelly Bean) devices as well! This app is only available from Google on Google Play Edition or Nexus devices. We have recompiled the original Google source code to bring the classic functionality and Google design to all Android users who's phones do not come with it.
Most phone manufacturers (Samsung, HTC, LG, etc.) build their own messaging apps with brand specific user interfaces. The Nexus 5 has also removed Messaging and now includes Google Hangouts instead. Installing this app allows all Android 4.1+ owners to use the classic SMS/MMS app from Google.

This re-compiled version is maintained by SoftCoil Development for the benefit of the community. Please report any issues so that we can resolve them quickly. (Note that MMS may not work on your 4.2 device until we have fixed an OS bug. We are working on it though. :-) )
Enjoy!

So, it sounds like there are some issues with MMS. Maybe you can contact the developer and they can work it out for you??
