Help HTC Desire / Android 2.2 gmail contacts

Hi, I have a problem with those anoying google contacts. When I first started my phone, I created a google account, and a facebook account. But when I went to "People", everybody was there. So I deleted my FB account, but I'm not able to delete the google account. Now, I whant to put all my phone contacts in one group, but I cannot, because when I choose "Add contacts to group", I have evry contact there, also with the stupid google contacts. I found on internet, that you can do "Profiles - Groups - Menu - Sync Groups", but I dont have any Sync Groups in my menu, I can only Add/Delete new categories. How can I see only phone contacts? [btw sorry for my horrible english, i'm from slovakia ;> ]
