HTC Desire AVD Application doesn't show

Question: My app is loaded fine in the emulator. The starting of the activity itself doesn't result in my app being started (including UI). What can be the problem?

My application (2.2 Froyo) won't start in emulator. I follow the next steps:

Application (2.2, SDK 8, min SDK 8)

1) Start Eclipse
2) Start AVD Manager;
3) Start my HTC Desire emulator (I wait until it's realy started);
4) Start program (recognises the Emulator fine);
5) Program is loaded fine in emulator;
5) The activity is started but nothing else happens;
The intent-filter is fine:
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
</intent-filter>

Questions:
a) What's the reason for my problem?
b) How can I solve this?
c) My UI isn't shown can this have to do something with media config xml remakr in CatLog?
