HTC Desire C battery life suddenly draining - HELP!

Had my HTC Desire C for 6 months now, and in terms of battery life it's always been fine. Could use it for 2 days before needing to charge it. But this week the battery life has all of a sudden dropped. Fully charged it in the evening, didn't use it just left it switched on and went to bed but when I woke up in the morning it was on 7%. Why is this? Has something in my settings changed? How can I fix this? Help would be very much appreciated!! Thank you!

The most likely cause is a poorly coded app: did you install any new apps - or upgrades to existing apps - around the time you noticed the issue?

Might be worth removing those apps, see if that helps.

Try using WakeLock Detector and/or GSAM Battery Monitor to help you identify if it is indeed an app that is causing the drain.
