i have used this site for months for information and help and have found it to be invaluable so i'd like to say an honest thankyou very much, especially for the time you guys take to answer all manner of questions HTCey? (htceeey, htciii) HTC wise!

wondering if you could help with the following?

i had the desire and then got the desire HD a few months ago and love it i sell mobiles for a living and have gotten shedloads of people away from the scourge that is iphones (sees lightening outside his window)

the only thing i do like is the flat sides of the new iphone4 i did see a hard case for the desire hd with the same flat sides when mooching around the shops but cannot find it online anywhere!!

i was just wondering if anyone knew where i could get one?

i'm not noob and have tried google: -

iphone 4 style desire hd case
htc desire hd iphone case
hard iphone 4 style case for the desire hd

non of the above seem to work?

I saw one on eBay but it was made of aluminium. Not sure what that would do to the signal though...

I use the Otter Box Defender Series for the DHD, which has the flat sides you mention, as does the Commuter Series.
See this thread for a couple of images and a video review of the Otter Box - Defender Series for the DHD.

Otterbox is quite good, does what it says on the packaging but is a little bulky for some,

Have you ever tried Case-Mate cases? iPhone 4 Tough does and looks like what you need

Case-Mate - iPhone 4 Tough Case Black

just checked the DHD section and they also have one for that

Case-Mate - HTC Desire HD Tough Case Black

it might be worth checking...
