How come you wasted one? I got my official ones today and I just peeled it off and reapplied till it was perfect.

I get the air-bubble around the notification hole but apart from that it sits on the screen just fine.

I got mine today as well, gotta say its well tricky getting it to fit right but worth it when u do.

I had the LUPO as well. Unfortunately, it stretched after a few days and became very loose. My Desire fell out of it onto the floor!

Believe it or not, both Ebay AND Paypal say it's up to the buyer to pay return postage! I argued that it's not "unwanted" it's "not as described" and I woulfd not have bought it if it was accurately described - Fell on deaf ears...

Luckily, after a stern Email, the seller refunded in full and has told me not to bother returning....

I believe it - it's why I closed my PayPal account. Some companies really believe their own b***s*** when they say that this or that is their policy. I don't care about a company's policy - all I care about is UK law, which they have to follow if they want to do business here. That's why you tend to see, on reputable companies websites/receipts/adverts etc, statements like `your statutory rights are not affected` - they can add to them if they like, but they can't take them away.

He must be out of stock at the moment. Trying mailing him. As for the crasle, i too am after one, i doubt the official one will work with the silicone case.

I bought this silicon case and it is very good value but the phone does not fit the Brodit active car cradle with the case on (which doesn't bother me).

1. fiddly to put on
2. really only viable for screen and back
3. sides top, buttons and base are a waste of time as no matter how careful you are it looks a bit tatty and spoils the look of desire (black)

Yea I agree with it taking the impact but I have bad luck with things like this so mine would split open, bounce along the concrete and then fall down a drain

I can confirm that I dropped the phone in said case on a wooden floor today and the case did not come apart.

It is a perfect fit on the Desire.

From the photo it doesn't look like there's a hole for the volume buttons. Is it just the photo not showing it, or can you press the buttons through the plastic?

The volume and power buttons are not exposed. There is a slight rough imprint of the buttons on the area of the cover overlying the buttons. Makes it easy to find, and does not cause any problems in pressing the buttons.

I'm pretty close to Slough, but I avoid going there where at all possible! I'll check out a Vodafone branch in central London when I've got my gel thing, to make sure it fits.

After reading through 11 pages I don't have confidence in any of the cases. The closest to getting a thumbs-up from me so far are:

• Piel Frama
• Noreve

(With the Noreve being slightly more appealing)

I just wish Vaja produced Desire cases, I've had a long history with their products (since 2004) and never ever been disappointed, nor has anyone I've referred to them.

That will be very slack around the edges, I have the silicone one that has rubber buttons and covers up the original buttons and that is slack so see that one not being so snug.

Actually, the gel/flexishield cases are not silicone. They are some sort of slightly stretchy plastic. Fits like a glove with no gapping.
