Root HTC Desire Flashing Rom problem

Hi.

I have a HTC desire. The phone has been wiped clean so nothing needs backing up or installing and I have rooted it using unrevoked.

I'm trying to now load a custom rom (the two I'm trying are

1) LeeDrOiD_HD_V3.3.3_GB-Port-R5-A2SD.zip
2) LeeDrOiD_V2.5.0_A2SD_FINAL.zip)

from LeeDrOiD ROMs: ROMs )

Both these files are in the root of my SDcard (also wiped clean). When I try to apply either of these ROMS in the recovery console, the last few lines read:

-writing boot.img
asset failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img", "boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/LeeDrOiD_HD_V3.3.3_GB-Port-R5-A2SD.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Any suggestions please. I'm really stuck.

Is your sd card partitioned? As in the leedroid xda thread, a 1gb ext3 partition required.

"Your SD card should be Partitioned as follows - | Fat32 | EXT3 (1GB) |"

You've rooted with unrevoked. What recovery did you use? Did you check your erase size first?

I did use Rom Manager to partition the card 512mb and 0mb swap. Not sure if this is right though?

The bundled recovery with unrevoked is appalling. Suggest you s-off, download 4ext recovery updater from xda and flash 4ext touch recovery

Suggest that you partition with Gparted as well, and get shot of ROM manager at the first opportunity - you don't need it.

Partitions you need 1GB Ext but don't think you need swap for Leedroid.
