Help HTC Desire freezes when making or reciving call

Hi!
My phone freezes when I either press CALL (when calling) or ANSWER (when reciving a call). Screeen goes black IMMEDIATELY, call proceedes normaly, and after... only solution is removing battery. I tryed shut-down and of course hard reset-removing battery for a minute or so. Everything else seems to work fine. Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?

I installed AndroSensor and find out, that proximity sensor reading stays on 0,0 inch (0,5mA), no matter what I do with the phone. So it's obviusly this sensor's fault, either mechanical or software. Since I factory reseted it alredy, I belive it is a mechanical issue, so I'll take it to the authorised service.
