I recieved the Froyo update and i know its installed because i now have the flashlight, the screen now turns to the right and the messages are different BUT the interface is still exactly the same. Does anyone have any idea?
the differences are'nt cosmetic as such, but give you full flash support, faster processing speed, internet tethering, apps to sd, hd video, chrome to phone google the differences android 2.1 and 2.2 or search this forum for the specs.
Froyo does have an updated interface but I don't know how much sense overwrites. In vanilla android the home screen (Sense definatly overwrites) the gallery, the camera and some of the settings were changed.

2.2 with sense is identical to 2.1 with sense interface-wise, with the only exceptions being a slightly different keyboard and messaging app layout. The update to 2.2 wasn't to make it look different, it was to improve things behind the scenes, making the phone run faster, have better battery life, etc.
