Help Htc Desire HD loses mobile network

sorry for bad english, im from denmark.
i have this issue with my Htc Desire HD, that everytime i turnoff my screen, and turns it on again the mobile network have no connection.
some times i get an sms at 4 o clock at the night, but the sender sendet me the sms at 20 o clock.
everytime i turn on my screen to unlock there is no service.

i have the danish / scandinavian mobile provider named 3.dk
i called them with my problem and as usual they said the service is okay at your area. then i got tecknicikan support, and he told me to reset to factory defaults. That i have done for 3 times now, still the same problem.

i tryed to turn on my wifi, turn it off .. same
the gps, same.
bluetooth i never use.

i have updated to the newest software, and i cant roll the phone back :(

any suggestions ?

now i have tryed the Flight mode on and off .. still the same.
 
Hi,

Did you try setting Network Mode (Settings>Mobile Networks) to "GSM ONLY"?

Also, make sure that "Network operators" is set to "Select Automatically". Sounds like it could be a roaming issue. Does your SIM allow connection to any other networks?

the "select automatically" is the one i aways uses =)
yes my sim does allw connection to 1 other network i may roam to, but even if i enable or disable rooaming its the same, i lose my connection.

Have you tried a different SIM card in your phone? If you did this already, I would return the phone for service.
 
should our networks be set to gsm only?

Some people say they are having problems manually selecting Orange T-Mobile (from Orange network). I read somewhere that it seems to help to select "GSM only" then register on Orange T-Mobile. Since Orange users can't use T-mobile's 3G signal at present (and vice versa), it won't make a difference to the data connection. That said, I believe the 3G network sharing should kick in fairly soon anyway, at which point the problem should rectify itself!
 
I had the same problem. In settings go to mobile network (below the swithc on / of box) In the middle tap "names on accesspoint" In danish "Navne p
