Help HTC Desire HD Music

I just got an HTC Desire HD. I synched it to transfer a music file but cannot find where it has gone on the phone, i think its on the storage card but cant see how to get to it
 
Where did you drag and drop the music to? We can't tell you where you put the music. You could have just made a folder on the SD card called Music and put it there.

You can use Astro to find files with the phone, or plug into your computer in Disk Drive mode and explore that way.

Did you use HTC Sync to transfer or another piece of software? There is a folder on the SD Card by default called music, I presume HTC Sync would have put it there.

Whilst you can use Astro, the search function in ES File Explorer allows you to search for files by category which might be easier if you're not used to the navigating your way around the phone. If you need assistance using either, let me know.

Or as has been suggested, navigate your phones storage via the PC. Whichever you feel more comfortable with.
 
Beware the "no music" file that sometimes occurs when moving music to an sd card. This tells your music player that there is "no music" in that folder. So if the methods above show you the files are there but your music player won't "find" them this could be your problem! You just have to delete the "no music" file.
