Help HTC Desire HD not in HD!

Hi I was recording a video for youtube and it was around 7 minutes long. I couldn't upload it directly to youtube from my phone because apparently it was too big. So I used HTC Sync to get the video on my computer and uploaded it straight to youtube. The quality isn't very good and it's not 720P. Anyone tell my what I'm doing wrong please?

Uhm, check settings? Press "menu" when in Camcorder mode.

If you want the video to go straight to youtube, don't forget to change the video quality on Camcorder. Press Menu> Video Quality> Online (HD-10 minutes). Neve have a problem with quality.

I don't understand. How does this differ from 720p HD?

Surely they are both 720p, or the online one is less
