Help HTC Desire HD- NOT switching on.

Sorry if this has been answered before. For some reason my hubby's phone will not switch on, he's having to use an older mobile and has been asked by T Mobile to take his HTC to a store. Think there will be many who have come across this so THANKS in advance.

By not turning on, do you mean it's completely dead?

If it's showing signs of life (i.e. the charge LED works, or it shows the white HTC screen whn you turn it on), then a factory reset/firmware reinstall is probably required.

If it's completely dead, try taking out the battery and then putting it back in and connecting the charger. If that doesn't work, then all you can do is take it to a shop.

Thank you Xyro, yes the phone is completely 'dead' so i think it's off to T Mobile.
