Root HTC Desire HD rooting

Hi,

I'm planning on rooting my Desire HD. I don't know anything about rooting Android mobiles, this is the first time.

So my phone is branded as it is running software number 2.36.771.14 which means i will have to create a gold card.

So i follow this tutorial: Gold Card

I then need to downgrade my firmware(2.36.771.14) to 1.32.405.6.

So i follow this tutorial: Downgrading

I now need to S-OFF'ing as i want to install a custom ROM. S-OFF guide:
Radio S-OFF

I then need to Engineer S-OFF:


Then i need to install the android app 'ROM Manager'.

I then install the latest version of CWM.

After that is installed i can now install the custom ROM:
