Help HTC Desire HD Way To Slow

Evening folks another problem i have encountered is when sending a SMS to certain individuals i get prompted with this message "" Messages is not responding . An error report will be sent to HTC "" So i cant send messages and the only way i can is to go throught the phone book scroll to name click and hold down till a menu appears then choose "" Sent Text Message "" This is very annoying and it a right pain in the butt. Can anyone tell me does these reports get sent to HTC and how can i resolve this for now .

Have contacted Orange but its got nothing to do with them they say so am a tad baffled.

You could try clearing the cache and data associated with the messaging app.

Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All -> Messaging -> Clear Cache/Data.

You might also want to try it with another messaging app (Go SMS/Handcent/Chomp) etc.
