i dont want to post on the site every time i got a problem you guys got a life dont need to help me all the time my problem is my htc is not on privet but wen i call people it shows my number is on privet i dont no why

I'd much rather try and talk someone through a problem than see them give up a perfectly decent phone.

If you go Settings -> Call Settings -> Additional Settings -> Caller ID

Is that set to Network Default or Show?

its set to show i tried network as well still does the same do you think it can be optus

It could potentially be network related.

Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Status.

Is your number listed there?

Ok, this could be related to the ROM I am using, but it might work for you.

Settings -> Call Settings -> Additional Settings -> My Phone Number

If I select My Phone Number, I can input my number. If you can, enter your number there and see if that makes a difference?

I'd call Optus and see what they say (although they'll probably say it's a handset fault).....

i called up and day turned some think on and it worked and i message alot after like 1 houre 20 minutes my battery is gone i got the charger it again and btw El Presidente your the best helper on here done alot to help me thank you man

There are a number of things you can do to improve battery life. Take a look at your screen brightness, that's a massive drain on battery, mine is set at 40% and that does me in most circumstances. Also, if you're messaging a lot, is haptic feedback turned off?

Are you set you set to auto sync? If yes, how frequently are you set to sync?

There's also an option called Best WiFi performance which has a massive impact on battery life, is that checked?
