Help HTC Desire HD

Any ideas or aps available to allow me to set alarm on phone and then be able to turn phone off at night (to conserve battery) and it to then turn itself on when alarm goes off. HTC Desire HD

Welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, the alarm won't activate when the phone is off. It's a tad annoying, as all of my previous handsets have been able to do it. It's not just limited to the Desire HD either, it appears to effect a number of handsets.

If you want to save battery whilst in bed, you could turn Airplane mode on? There is also no harm in charging over night either.

As El Presidente mentions there's no harm in charging overnight.
That's wat I always do, and start the day off with a fully battery.
