Most computers have two jacks (one for headphones, one for mic). If you get a headset for your PC, it will also have to plug into both jacks on the PC.
So, you'd need to find an adapter that can split out the microphone and headphone parts into 2 jacks. I'm not sure such a thing exists. Probably just as cheap to buy a mic or headset for your PC.
